Wrap Me

From Fall 2008 — Ash Ombre Bandage off shoulder dress

An essential runway dress I would like to have in my closet is on its way to me — somebody pinch me! I cannot believe it! It feels like a dream… simply because with $1650, I could buy a Balenciaga bag or Chanel and I never thought I’d be able to own this dress. I am completely in love with the gradient hues of gray to black.

When it first hit the runway, I thought it was the best Léger piece till date (coming from a person who does not fancy Hervé Léger too much). I don’t think I would change my mind… or so I hope.

Now the part that worries me is that I bought it in XS and it might be quite idealistic since I’ve moved from 0 to 2, I think? Well done? Haha!

Whatever it is, I am gonna shed those excess before my birthday and be ready to wrap up like a sushi!

Rouge

This is very random but I am suddenly feeling very hungry :(

I would like a cheesy big mac and some nice twisted fries please. And nutella crepes!

Net-a-Porter.com

Also, I just remembered something about Miu Miu (although not entirely the same — I have the longer version) and I cannot wait to use it! Merci beaucoup beaucoup to someone special who got it for me… bisou ♥

Le Noir

New glass slippers ♥

I don’t know what to say about these shoes because I am just too ecstatic to be able to get my hands on them. I missed them time and time again but eventually I managed to score!

I can’t wait to wear them tomorrow.

You have no idea how much I love black patent + peep toes!

Strawberry fields forever

In a one-shoulder silk raspberry dress.

I love strawberry ice cream. Its rich color looks sweet and tempting. But when I tried it, there was a tinge of sourness and bittersweetness in it.

So like life… we should never judge a cover or appearance. Who would ever know?

I think I like this picture — it has an accidental color coordination!

Melt with you

I am supposed to be doing my reading but I digressed… and what kept me more interested than a boring academic paper is Lanvin.

I can never explain enough how simplicity is so elegantly defined through the works of Lanvin. What also got me on my knees (other than their infamous ballet flats, necklaces and dresses but never their bags) was Alber Elbaz’s 22 Faubourg collection… soft luxurious yet casual tees with printed kooky illustrations which I could easily throw on skinny jeans or a bandage skirt with — absolutely love the street chicness in them!

Now there is another designer I have been quite into lately… just like everyone else who craves his military padded shoulder jackets and sparkling studded heels..

The only piece I would like to own from Balmain is the jacket. But the price of it could land me a Lanvin dress. Perhaps even two.

Lanvin et Balmain… I would like to mix it up between the sleek and ruggedness to see what kind of look I will get.

Comment ça va?

ça va bien! et tois?

Konnichiwa Tokyo

Here’s a picture of Japan which I’ve taken recently. This might well be a place where I’d like to live for the rest of my life… dieting on succulent sashimi and aromatic sticky rice… although I think Paris will change my mind.

The most amusing thing I experienced on this trip — I noticed a well-dressed Japanese lady rushing out of the subway with a gorgeous gold birkin (35cm) on her arm. And I wondered… how the heck did she manage to squeeze that large hottie into the infamous crowded subway?

Throughout the trip, I spotted countless of birkins each day. I have never spotted too many birkins in a day. J’adore Japonais! It was truly a birkin heaven.

Now here is another reason why I love Japan.
