Another Shoes Post

Pardon me for the lack of outfit photos of late… as you know (for those who frequent here), I was struggling big time with deadlines (now it’s exams) and have been in the most uninspired state ever. I met a girlfriend yesterday and wore a Kerrigan by Daryl K top and AA mini skirt with my usual Chanel peep toe heels… but did not have the chance to take a photo of it because I was dead tired by the time I reached home! You’ll get a chance to see the new top I wore yesterday, though

I was taking a break just now and was looking around my bedroom to see if I could find anything to ‘update’ my blog with. And yeah, I most definitely did! My room is filled with treasure… or simply, I just lack good memory to remember all the things I bought. I keep finding ‘new’ things! It’s so exciting but scary at the same time because I seem to have so many unworn things! For instance, these two pairs of unworn shoes which I ‘chanced’ upon…

Yeaaaa, I know I need to quit getting chunky and gladiator stuff, lol. I have too many of those! I love flats too, for someone who has lots of high heels… ironic?

Introducing Dolce Vita gladiator booties — love them although they are very high! I remember hunting them down for the longest time last year when I saw the patent version on Shopbop! I really need to wear them out. Any outfit suggestions, my fashion savvy readers?

They are the most beautiful flats I’ve ever bought (or seen). I love them so much! I was drooling over them when I saw photos of them posted on the purse forum but I didn’t get down to ‘hunting’ them down. Then I coincidentally saw them in a shoe boutique and I just bought them within a snap, no questions asked! They are like jewel on the feet. Awesome fitting too. Why oh why have I not worn them out? Oh yea, they are from Giuseppe Zanotti and I got them at 50% off

Very very hungry and I gotta go off to ‘hunt’ for some food at the kitchen.

A tribute to my favorite shoes of all time

Christian Louboutin Very Prive in nude satin & black lace

I bought them in Paris a few years back and they were the pair of Louboutin shoes I fell in love with at the boutique. Back then, I was only 18 years old and when I saw the price tag at 545 euros, my jaws fell. They were unbelievably pricey (even until now I’d still think twice) but I was very sure that my love for them was 100% enough to get them. And so, I handed over my card blissfully and got it swiped! I was happy until I returned home and mom asked me what I signed at Louboutin… lol.

Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I do! I haven’t been dressing up of late because I’ve been too busy with work and am lacking the mood to take outfit pics. Today I wore grey and white marble dye skinny jeans and a black deep v-neck tee along with the shoes for church.

I had family dinner with the boyfriend and his family and friends last friday. It’s nice having fun together, singing karaoke and laughing at silly gestures. I always enjoy heartwarming family times. They are so precious and they make me feel alive.

I’ve been sick for 3 days now and I’m feeling slightly better, but when it comes to sleeping, I feel worse. I’ve got a nose that decides to block itself when I sleep and an on and off fever plus I’m kinda coughing right now so it’s really quite bad. I hope it’s nothing serious.
