I was just talking to my Parisian ex-classmate and I was reminded of how much I missed Paris. I missed the fun times — where we had a picnic along the La Seine river (it was so freaking cold but we were having wine so it wasn’t too bad but I was so in need of the loo and I had to hold my pee for eons until we found a restroom) , attended crazy student parties at the clubs along Montparnesse (where my school was) and had to deal with my crazy drunk Spanish friends (but they were so much fun to be with) and where I always dressed like a crazy person with my back-then usual heather grey hoodie covering most of my face and hair dangling all over (bet I looked like a ghost) and black velvet sweatpants so I wouldn’t get mugged at 1 am walking alone to get supper (I used to stay at Place de Clichy, it wasn’t dodgy but I was just so paranoid!).
These are just a few of the crazy things I did and experienced back then! Such great memories! They form a big part of me which nobody can ever take away. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be able to study abroad, especially in the capital of fashion (which was bad because I was in a state of temptation all the time, I kept shopping non-stop!). I miss having my favorite Korean and Japanese food where I used to have like thrice a week whenever I was just too lazy to cook. But I don’t miss doing the dishes so thank God I’m home, haha! Just kidding. So here are some random photos I documented during my stay in Paris

Hope you like them! I miss Paris. However, living and traveling are completely different altogether. As much as I had enjoyed my stay in Paris, living back then (I was 18-19) and fitting in were very challenging and difficult. I cannot disregard nor forget the misfortunes I had but I have learned to count my blessings. I really enjoyed and appreciate the Parisian culture. As for now, I’m just so thankful to be home!
Love, Adela
