MILANO

WINTER WONDERLAND IN MILAN.

First things I saw when I was there — huge Christmas trees and piles of snow. I don’t need to tell you how beautiful the place is. Pictures speak volumes :)

More updates to come so watch out for it! In the mean time, I’m agonizing over the best prospective career for myself. Wish me luck cause I’ll need lots of it!

Long Time Love Affair

I know I ought to grow up but what’s a girl to do when she loves a cute white kitty all decked in pink! I grew up with Hello Kitty and I know that Kitty has 2 categories of fans — fans like me and well, hate fans aka haters. Sadly I belong to the former so if you feel uncomfortable with a cute cat without a mouth, please refrain from viewing this entry. Now that you’ve been warned, for those who adore cute kitties… enjoy ;)

I wore: Grey blazer, F21. Deep v-neck tee, AA. Fringe skirt, F21. Glitter ballet flats, Repetto. Red bag, Balenciaga. Watch, Cartier.

More updates to come over the weekend! Until then, have lots of fun and stay safe! xoxo Adela

Inspiration Of The Day

Some Fond Memories

In no particular order of liking, I posted some photos of my Japan trip sometime this time last year. This year’s winter will never be the same again.

Anyhoo, some updates:

  1. Thank you for all the sweet encouragement and comments I have received! I feel very touched and loved :) Thank you.
  2. Thank you for all your prayers too. They really work wonders for my family and I and I cannot tell you enough how much God’s spirit is among us.
  3. I have been very happy and content these past few days despite the crisis going on. I truly thank God for that.
  4. My family and I are going strong and praying for my grandpa. The presence of a loved one really means a lot.
  5. Grandpa will be starting treatment next Monday. Please continue to pray for him that he’ll be strong and pull through the tormenting treatment process which will last about 6 weeks.
  6. I am going on a 12-day trip next month and you must be wondering how could I go abroad with my grandpa’s condition like that! I have already bought the tickets and planned for the trip a month back and this crisis only happened 2 weeks ago. This trip will mean a lot to me during the time of Advent before Christmas.
  7. Will be formally graduating this Saturday with my mortar hat and harry potterish robe, acks.
  8. Got a cute Rebecca Minkoff Nikki bag in lemon yellow ostrich!! It’s so huge that I think it can fit my whole life in there.
  9. Gonna get an iPhone finally.
  10. I painted my nails in OPI Do You Lilac It which I recently bought! Okay, this is so random. I’m gonna go sleep now!

Goodnight and God bless, Adela

La Vie En Rose

I was just talking to my Parisian ex-classmate and I was reminded of how much I missed Paris. I missed the fun times — where we had a picnic along the La Seine river (it was so freaking cold but we were having wine so it wasn’t too bad but I was so in need of the loo and I had to hold my pee for eons until we found a restroom) , attended crazy student parties at the clubs along Montparnesse (where my school was) and had to deal with my crazy drunk Spanish friends (but they were so much fun to be with) and where I always dressed like a crazy person with my back-then usual heather grey hoodie covering most of my face and hair dangling all over (bet I looked like a ghost) and black velvet sweatpants so I wouldn’t get mugged at 1 am walking alone to get supper (I used to stay at Place de Clichy, it wasn’t dodgy but I was just so paranoid!).

These are just a few of the crazy things I did and experienced back then! Such great memories! They form a big part of me which nobody can ever take away. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be able to study abroad, especially in the capital of fashion (which was bad because I was in a state of temptation all the time, I kept shopping non-stop!). I miss having my favorite Korean and Japanese food where I used to have like thrice a week whenever I was just too lazy to cook. But I don’t miss doing the dishes so thank God I’m home, haha! Just kidding. So here are some random photos I documented during my stay in Paris ;)

Hope you like them! I miss Paris. However, living and traveling are completely different altogether. As much as I had enjoyed my stay in Paris, living back then (I was 18-19) and fitting in were very challenging and difficult. I cannot disregard nor forget the misfortunes I had but I have learned to count my blessings. I really enjoyed and appreciate the Parisian culture. As for now, I’m just so thankful to be home! :)

Love, Adela
